Sneak Peek

My loyal old Bernina had a few issues this week so rather than show you finished items I can just give you a sneak peek at what's to come in my store.

I've been working on a new bag which was inspired by one my husband brought back for me from France. Here is my test run made in some Amy Butler fabric I had lefover from another project......

I've designed this one with a view to those women out there who like handles on a bag (wheras I'm a clutch girl through and through!). This was to be my giveaway before I realised one of the handles was ever so slightly shorter than the other. I was obviously way to eager to see it finished that I missed it! Now that my test run is done I'm picturing it in nice simple polkadots (Japanese, of course).....

I just can't get enough of this sage spot in the middle and I'm looking forward to cutting into it. The cute squirrels - well I haven't quite decided what to create with those.......

Also new in my shop:

Oversize Clutch, Black (I added a strap to this one for extra flexibility)

Mini Purse to pop inside the My Little Sunshine Bag

Oversize Japanese Evening Clutch (I also made one of these for myself to take to a wedding)

During the Brisbane Ekka (6th to 15th August) I will have 10% off storewide, plus my usual free postage in Australia so make sure you check out my store during this time!

Work in progress

I currently have two My Little Sunshine Bags in construction. One of these is for a store at West End (2nd store on the Gold Coast) which has offered to stock some of my bags, and the other is an order for a family member. I do find special orders much more enjoyable as you have the person in mind the whole time you are sewing. It does tend to put me under a little extra pressure, however the result is often a better product.

This is a relatively complicated bag to make and takes 22 pieces (including 3 layers of interfacing) to put it together. Is it any wonder this ones takes over 4 hours! I do think it is worth it though....

I don't think I will ever tire of this fabric. It is from the Heather Bailey Pop Garden collection.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog! I am in the process of setting it up so it is looking a little sparse! Until I add some details and pictures please click on the Etsy link to have a look at my Etsy store, Nosovich. On there you'll find out a little more about me, the products I make an the items currently for sale.
I created Nosovich to showcase some of my handmade clutches and handbags. I use premium fabrics from Australia, North America and Japan and I love creating beautiful accessories for people (and occasionally myself!) to enjoy.
To celebrate the beginning of my blog I will be giving away a new bag that I've been working on. I'll be posting this giveaway in the next week. Until then I thought I'd simply post some pictures of some of my favourite items to date......
